Job details
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing cost estimates through all stages of design.
Managing the production bills of quantities.
Preparing monthly financial Reports.
Liaising with client and other consultants in the delivery of projects.
Managing small teams of quantity surveyors.
Preparing and maintaining Interim and Final Quantity Books.
Examining the Contractor’s interim and final account certificates.
Evaluating unit rates for new items of works.
Reviewing joint measurements for interim payments.
Computing final account quantities.
Preparing and maintaining project progress schedule and cash flow chart.
Assisting in preparation of Variation Orders and evaluating claims.
Minimum Requirements
A minimum of 10 years experience Building construction projects is required.
Experience in claims / arbitration procedures and method is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying (BSc) is required
Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) accreditation is necessary for this position.
