Chief of Editorial

EMCD is a global Web3 infrastructure company building solutions at the intersection of fintech, mining, and decentralized technologies. We're expanding across multiple regions and looking for a seasoned Chief of Editorial to lead our editorial direction and elevate our voice across markets.Key Responsibilities: Build and scale the EMCD global editorial function processes, content standards, planning, and brand voice.Own the full editorial cycle: from ideation and brainstorming to publishing, distribution, and post-launch analysis.Oversee all text-based content formats, including analytics, thought leadership, product storytelling, blog posts, long reads, interviews, video/podcast scripts, and social copy.Align priorities and messaging with BD, PR, Marketing, and Product teams.Ensure high-quality, consistent content in both English and Russian.Build and manage a hybrid team of internal writers and freelancers: hiring, briefing, and daily management.Collaborate with domain experts across Web3, fintech, AI, and traditional tech to co-create impactful content.Monitor key content metrics and continuously optimize for performance and relevance.Requirements: 4+ years of experience as a Chief Editor / Head of Content / Content Lead in tech or media.Exceptional English and Russian writing and editing skills (C2 level) with a strong editorial sense and distinctive tone; Spanish from B2.Deep understanding of or strong interest in Web3, crypto, and fintech ecosystems.Proven track record in building editorial processes from the ground up in fast-paced environments.Comfortable working across content formats: from long-reads and digests to email newsletters, scripts, event assets, and social media.Skilled in managing content teams and collaborating with brand and design functions.Hands-on experience with Notion, Jira, Google Docs, and AI-powered content tools.Experience in building a global editorial team in a rapidly evolving Web3 landscape.Ability to balance news cycles, B2B goals, and brand awareness initiatives.Experience working cross-functionally with teams across 5+ regional markets.Experience launching a new tone of voice for EMCD in collaboration with brand leadership.Proven ability to set up a consistent content pipeline in both English and Russian.Developing content guidelines and scaling them across markets and languages.Desired Mindset: Structured but not bureaucratic; able to launch MVPs quickly and iterate.Deep editorial taste and love for language, from Bloomberg to Zora.Proactive and self-driven; creates agendas and acts without waiting for tasks.Flexible and responsive; adapts quickly to shifting priorities.Analytical and product-oriented; comfortable diving into data and shaping content based on business goals.What We Offer: Fully remote work from anywhere in the world with a flexible schedule.Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses.100% paid sick leave and vacation.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with modern technologies.Work in a leading mining pool with in-depth industry training.Professional growth and development opportunities.A collaborative and inclusive work environment.Ready to lead EMCD's global content strategy and build the editorial voice of one of the most ambitious Web3 companies?Apply now and let's create a new narrative for the decentralized world together.J-18808-Ljbffr #J-18808-Ljbffr
