Our company, valued at $3.9B and employing 16,000 people, works alongside our clients worldwide to tackle complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism.Responsibilities What You'll Do V2X's National Security Solutions (NSS) has an immediate opportunity for a Hindi Linguist to support the Regional Security Office (RSO) as a vetting support linguist by interpreting, translating, and analyzing written and verbal communications.Interpret and translate verbal communications; provide translation services during interviews (including polygraph examinations) and meetings; transcribe and analyze spoken communications.Interpret oral conversations concurrently/simultaneously.Interpret and translate written communications; review and analyze foreign language documents for key information; and prepare documents in English and the target language(s).Prepare typed English translations from various source media.Perform quality control review of completed work to ensure accuracy.Ensure communications and translations are conveyed and understood in proper context.Observe and analyze culture-specific non-verbal cues related to communications.Provide administrative support related to the assignment.Undertake auxiliary duties as assigned to support the DS/ICI/CCV mission.Ensure proper storage and maintenance of data (classified and unclassified).Monitor, translate, and summarize real-time oral communications recordings.Transcribe from storage media in the required languages and English.Qualifications Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: At least three (3) years as a linguist (written and spoken). Overseas experience and high-threat environment experience are highly desirable.Security Clearance: Final SECRET clearance required; upgrade to TOP SECRET and SCI access may be needed.Must be a U.S. citizen.Additional Information The government may require overseas travel screening and medical examinations.
