ïƒ˜ To contribute and drive excellence and competitive advantage through the delivery of Radio Access Networks Rollout projects. This role requires a high calibre individual with a strong program/project management skills and mindset and understanding of network dependencies and RAN technologies
1. RAN Implementation/Project management
ïƒ˜ 1-Network Delivery:
ïƒ˜ . Deliver RAN Rollout projects targets within the defined time frame, within predefined budget and with desired network KPIs thresholds.
ïƒ˜ . Responsibility of RAN Rollout projects extends (and not limited) to cover RAN sites, RAN controllers, RAN modernization projects, RAN resiliency projects & Global Network Parameters Rollout
ïƒ˜ 2. RAN Rollout Projects Planning
ïƒ˜ Review and validate all RAN Rollout project plans proposed from Outsourced partner in light of the designed coverage/capacity, network quality & cost efficiency.
ïƒ˜ 3. Capacity Delivery
ïƒ˜ . Drive the Rollout and execution of the Access Capacity Plans
ïƒ˜ . Ensure appropriate actions are taken in time â€“ considering service requirements and network traffic growth
ïƒ˜ 4.Innovation and Change
ïƒ˜ . Identifies innovation opportunities in the relevant area and solutions to integrate them in the evolving network environment.
ïƒ˜ . Contribute to deliver and Rollout solutions improving performance, quality and efficiency and enabling cost base reduction
ïƒ˜ 5. Leadership and teamwork
ïƒ˜ . Engage with local cross functional teams capturing the design & operational requirements and defining the deliverables in the specific area to meet design requirements and operational KPIs targets.
ïƒ˜ . Collaborate with other technology domains Rollout managers to sketch Vodafone Qatar Rollout and delivery master plan
2. Financial Responsibility
ïƒ˜ Support RAN projects delivery achieving short and long term company targets, insuring the planned RAN network elements are delivered in the planned time line and within planned CapEx/OpEx budget.
3. Business Responsibility
ïƒ˜ High quality Radio network performance
ïƒ˜ Radio performance KPIs met or exceed the thresholds
ïƒ˜ Network NPS better than Ooredoo
ïƒ˜ Secure relevant reporting to steering committee and other stakeholders
ïƒ˜ Escalate issues before these will become road blocks
5. Conflict Handling
ïƒ˜ Initiate and facilitate open discussions on different views w.r.t. project execution
ïƒ˜ Ensure full understanding of the needs and expectations of each party
ïƒ˜ Proactively take adequate actions if a conflict arises; gather facts and figures
ïƒ˜ Advice management in taking decisions to resolve a conflict
6. Administrative Process
ïƒ˜ Ensure a correct hand-over to Operations / Finance
7. Third Parties
ïƒ˜ Supervise the implementation of Interconnection and other agreements with Q-Tel and other Third Parties
ïƒ˜ Establish appropriate processes and maintain good relationships to minimise disruptions
