Database Administrator

Job Description The Database Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing large‑scale database systems, with a primary focus on Greenplum and Oracle. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in database administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and is flexible in learning and adopting new database technologies as required by evolving project needs. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor and optimize Greenplum and Oracle database backup, recovery, and high availability strategies. Troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system reliability and data integrity. Collaborate with development and data engineering teams on database design and optimization. Stay current with emerging database technologies and adopt new tools and practices as needed. Required Skills Proven experience in administering Greenplum and Oracle databases. Strong skills in SQL performance tuning and database security. Experience with data replication, partitioning and large‑scale data management.
