Job Opening: Senior Accountant We are hiring a Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations for a fast-paced commodity trading firm using Zoho Books. This role is suitable for candidates with solid accounting fundamentals and financial reporting skills, even without a trading background, provided they can quickly grasp inventory management, margin tracking, and multi-currency transactions.Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements Manage daily bookkeeping using Zoho Books Track trading transactions, inventory movement, and profit/loss Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Prepare financial reports and support external audits Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and regulatory standards Desired Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of accounting experience Proven expertise in Zoho Books Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial statements, and accounting principles Familiarity with commodity-related accounting Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Note: Naukrigulf.com is a platform connecting jobseekers and employers.
