Play a lead role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Nuclear Energy Strategy for the Ministry of Energy & Industry. Lead the analysis of investment opportunities for QP in the area of nuclear energy. Lead the monitoring of trends in relevant nuclear energy technologies, the associated safety and environmental concerns and highlight opportunities for QP and the State of Qatar in these areas. Education:
University Degree in Economics (or Business), Energy Studies, Nuclear Energy or Engineering, preferably with post-graduate qualifications. Experience & Skills:
Likely to have at least 15 years experience in the field of energy economics, energy studies, nuclear energy policy or energy engineering preferably with exposure to the oil, gas and power industry (but might be less if the candidates has a combination of industry and senior level experience that is exceptionally well matched to the position requirements). Must be self-sufficient in basic computer software (Word, Excel, etc). Please note that only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
