Job details
Welds all materials including high/low carbon steels, alloys, stainless steels, pipes, pressure vessels, completed in accordance with ASME9 & BS4871 standards, including the use of MMA, MIG, TIG, BRAZING, hot and cold cutting prescribed procedures, and fabrication techniques for wellhead manifold, oil / gas flow and trunk lines in the Dukhan workshops and field areas. Participate, carry out and coordinate the daily maintenance activities, closely interact with ELS craftsmen comprising of welders, pipe fitters / fabricators, pipeline attendants, and general laborers within the fields/main workshop areas. To work with them to ensure compliance with welding standards within the Corporation's codes and safe working practices. Education:
Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 3 years full time Diploma or trade certificate in Welding Technology. Experience & Skills:
6 years experience including techniques required in using materials such as cast iron, aluminium, brass, copper, stainless steel and other alloys as well as hot tapping and cold cutting applications. Please note that only those applicants selected for interviews will be contacted.
