Review and analyze the Electronic Payment Services function which is responsible for:
Optimal utilization by QP of Purchase Cards, Corporate Credit Cards, and e-Cash Cards for facilitation of Materials Department minor procurements, payment for Human Resources services, purchases through the internet and other advanced electronic payment facilities and services to be introduced by banks with the ultimate aim of reducing/mitigating risks of abuse, lost or theft of cash while in hands of staff engaged in payment for HR services and procurement of materials. Contributes to electronic payment environment in QP by way of installation of electronic banking services, such as Automated Teller Machines (ATM), Point Of Sales (POS) machines and establishment of Bank Pay Offices or Bank branch in different critical QP locations within Qatar. Engages resources by maintaining professional business relations with banks and financial institutions providing electronic payment services and helping QP Departments to sustain positive business relations with suppliers/ vendors. Education:
Bachelor degree in Commerce-Finance and Accounting, preferably a CPA,CMA or Chartered Accountant; MBA degree is desirable. Experience & Skills:
Minimum 12 years experience in Treasury/Finance functions in oil & gas, manufacturing or banking industry. Good command of written and oral English and sound human relations skills are also essential. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications and exposure in SAP Financial Accounting module. In depth knowledge with techniques of administering electronic banking services and transactions with the view of ensuring proper and timely payment of dues, optimal utilization of cards as per related agreements, meeting payment dates timely and submission of reporting requirements to avoid defaults and maintain excellent corporate name and image. Adequate knowledge of and experience in banking transactions especially regarding funds transfer, services charges & pricing, and opening/maintaining bank accounts. Professional ability of identifying, analyzing and assessing need for ATM, POS and Pay Office services at various locations where QP operates and having negotiation skills to convince banks to provide such services to QP and QP staff.
