Job Duties:

The Software QA Engineer works closely with the QA Lead and designers in identifying and logging bugs found.

The Engineer will assist the test lead in drafting out test plans for new products and be able to identify potential issues/blockers before the QA cycle starts.

The Software QA Engineer would need to be able to test the data integrity of databases

The candidate will also be required to create test scripts to help in various test requirements

Good to have knowledge of SQL Queries (Oracle, DB2 or MySQL)

Requirements :

Passion for quality and ability to break systems

Strong QA fundamentals (regression, exploratory, risk-based tests) and can work with minimal supervision in tight deadlines

Experienced with Mobile apps testing

Able to reproduce elusive issues (attention to detail)

Able to write test cases and report results of the test execution

Familiar with testing Tools: JIRA, Postman or similar, Test Management tools such as Test Rail.

Knowledge at least one of these coding languages (Java, C++, C#) is required.

Knowledge of one of these scripting (ruby, python, javascript, Perl) languages is an added advantage.
