We are seeking a Goods-In Team Leader - Day shift A, to join the Operations Department as part of the Warehouse.

The successful candidate will lead specific functions within our Day Operation and help us offer customers the best service.

You will be a confident Team Leader, you will manage and coordinate all aspects of your team during the day shift, and support the Area manager with people.

What is this role accountable for? 

Lead and support the goods in a team to complete the daily defrost plan 

Issue raw material to production following the plans 

Help develop best practice 

Continuously improve the operation within the area 

Carry out one to one meetings with your team, and set individual and team ;

Completing, checking and monitoring paperwork to ensure process are followed and traceability is correctly recorded 

Maintaining the flow of information to ensure production/incoming shifts are aware of the current situation 

Measurement and control; recording, monitoring, collecting to provide accurate data for future planning and current KPI's 

Monitoring and controlling health & safety to provide a safe working environment that complies to national and internal H&S standards 

Experience, skills, and knowledge needed: 

Ideally with experience in manufacturing 

Experience in leading a team to complete daily objectives/targets 

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure 

Knowledge of continues improvement beneficial 

Forklift license is ideal but not essential 

IT software experience; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) 

The ability to learn and develop excellent product knowledge 

Flexible and willing to perform a variety of tasks and work overtime occasionally 

Literate and numerate to the extent required by warehouse paperwork 

Able to perform tasks accurately and productively 

Provide support to teams as required 

Facilitate team processes and ensure they are followed 

Allocate resources and personal effort as required 

Support learning and development within the team
