Job Roles & Responsibilities
Advise the Board on follow-up actions required to mitigate the risks of occupational disease.
Advise the Board on the required records and documentations to file under the Act.
Review the existing safety procedures in the workplace and recommend new safety procedures as and when required.
Ensure that all safety equipment at the workplace are safe to be used without additional charges.
Review emergency response plans as and when required by the GM/PM or any authorised persons by the Board for the workplace.
Conduct risk management analysis or review the existing risk management analysis to comply with the Act.
Give briefings to contractors or visitors on general safety and hazards in the workplace.
Conduct safety induction training to contractors before commencement of work.
Job Requirements
Workplace Safety & Health Officers (WSHOs) who are registered with the Ministry of Manpower.
WSHOs shall possess accredited certificates in "Fire Safety Manager Course" and registered with SCDF
Minmum 3 Years as WSHO cum FSM in NEA Plants
Must have good oral communication and writing skill
