We are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Development Team Leader to drive the entire development life cycle of our mobile platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Build a high performing team of software engineers to deliver best of breed mobile and web products
• Grow technical expertise of the team around quality, scalability, resilience, reusability, interoperability and best in class user experience
• Nurture a strong can do and innovative culture in an agile environment using both proven and state of the art technologies
• Participate in software product and features definition with product management; including product architecture, functional, performance, security and quality requirements.
• Transform product and project initiatives into development activities to produce commercially viable and sustainable products.
• Estimate, schedule, resource, manage and track a range of software development activities to meet time, budget and business requirements
• Oversee the daily activities of the development team within an agreed SDLC framework.
• Steer progress against multiple project schedules and resolve/mitigate project issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, quality and reusability standards.
• Drive improvement and innovation initiatives to continuously raise the bar on product development
• Develop talents and succession plan for the team by hiring, training, and mentoring individuals to meet their career development goals

Your Qualifications and Experience

• BS in Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years experience in leading high performing software development teams
• Strong experience in building web/hybrid/native mobile applications
• Demonstrable skills in PHP/Web/Native Mobile Application technologies
• Experience in responsive web design, consuming REST API
• Software development experience including but not limited to: OOP, functional programming, concurrency programming, design patterns, RESTful API development, Service Oriented Architecture, Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Testing, relational and non-relational database technologies
• Strong understanding of technology stacks, knowledge of platform and service development processes within a Cloud Native architecture
• Experience with Cloud Native/Microservice development a plus
• Demonstrable experience in project management
• Experience working within an Agile software development process, and Scrum framework
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective at working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams, customers and stakeholders
• Mandarin speaking a primary advantage
