We've got an exciting opportunity for a world-class Front-end Developer with exceptional JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills to join a growing Australian digital marketing agency working on websites for well-known Australian brand names.  

The Role  

We're looking for a talented front-end developer who lives and breathes all things digital to join our client's dev team. The agency only builds e-commerce sites and specifically on the Shopify platform. This is a rare opportunity to take your development skills to the next level whilst specializing in the most popular e-commerce platform around.  

You will have  

A passion for coding clean HTML, CSS/SCSS & JS that is performant and cross browser compatible. You keep up to date with emerging technologies and the latest best practices. You are a quick learner who is always looking to improve.  

You know your Sections from your Divs, your Buttons from your Anchor tags and when and why to use each.  

Minimum 3+ years industry experience in front-end development with a Strong portfolio of existing projects  

Experience with build pre-processors and build scripts (SCSS, Grunt, Gulp)  

Have an eye for design and maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the UI.  

Be able to provide accurate time estimates on work for the project management team.  

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.  

Contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specification)  

Discuss technical solutions & basic training with clients  

Have good understanding of Web Accessibility  

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail.  

Ability to work independently within a small team  

Having the following is definitely an advantage, but not essential: 

Experience with Shopify and Liquid  

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketch  

Experience with Git version control  

Experience with the command line  

Can understand and write PHP and or NodeJS  

Can write vanilla JS without relying on frameworks such as jQuery  

Solid understanding of Google Analytics and SEO
