Job details
You will work in a busy trade counter/sales office dealing with customers on the phone and face to face to maximize sales and profitability.
The ideal candidate will:
Help build and maintain relationships with our key customers and accounts to provide service levels that are second to none.
Be responsible for assisting customers with their requirements for timber supplies, as well as processing orders and providing a high level of service.
Handle any sales orders and queries both in person and via the telephone.
Organise the loading of materials on to customers' vehicles, produce sales tickets and correctly book these items on to customer accounts.
You will welcome all customers in a polite and pleasant manner whilst maintaining the appearance of the sales area.
Experience gained within the timber or builders' merchants industry would be a great advantage, though not crucial to the role.
Working within the sales team you must be enthusiastic and highly motivated with great communication skills and a customer focused approach. You must also be able to work effectively as part of a team.
