Responsibilities:

Reporting to QA Manager / General Manager

Oversee the QC / Lab operation line of the company

Manage the laboratory documentation and supervision including physical, chemical and microbiology division

Participate and assist in internal audit

Proactive provide feedback to HOD / production about defect from QA / microbiology

Assist in incoming packaging material, WIPs, pre-shipment inspection

Sourcing of purchase laboratory consumables and equipment according to ISO17025 / AOAC / FDA standard

To monitor, control and approve microbiological analysis on water quality and environmental monitoring

To troubleshoot and provide solutions to laboratory testing problem

To ensure optimum performance of testing activities and accurate test results

To ensure that all measurement equipment are calibrated as per schedule and proper maintenance of the records

Perform positive release on the finished goods after reviewing laboratory verification reports and operation records

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology or relevant discipline

Minimum 2 years of experience in carrying out quality control activities in food manufacturing industries

Familiar with ISO9001 and HACCP

Possess knowledge of laboratory test techniques, terminology, equipment and supplies

Fluent in written and spoken in English, Bahasa Malaysia

Proactive, fast learner well-organized and able to work independently

Working hours: Monday to Saturday; 8am to 5pm

Willing to work in Shah Alam, Selangor
