Description Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of MSOL shipments outgoing from Dubai. The role involves working with the customer care team, warehouse staff, and freight forwarders. The main objective is to prepare shipping documents and facilitate the collection of shipments from our warehouse for timely delivery to customers.Responsibilities: Handle outbound shipments, including PMO, RMA, DG, Trax manual shipments, and closing drop shipments in the system.Prepare shipping documents in Global Trax/manual shipping documents upon receiving final weights and dimensions from the warehouse.Prepare Delivery Advice and HS Summary sheet from MIC for outgoing shipments. Share draft shipping documents with Customer Care for shipping release.Apply for Certificate of Origin via Dubai Chamber of Commerce website.Prepare AWBs for parcel shipments and book shipments in SCO for heavy air shipments.Coordinate with freight forwarders to arrange collection/dispatch based on Incoterms.Send POD to Customer Care after material is collected or handed over to the forwarder.Close shipments in Global Trax after dispatch.Update outbound Share Point tracker with complete shipment information promptly.Verify shipping documents for FANR regulated items and send to Shipping Assistant for FANR approval.Monitor and expedite critical shipments with freight forwarders or clearing agents.Follow up for Bill of Exit copies and PODs from freight forwarders.Provide freight quotes and rate comparisons to Customer Care/Sales.Raise Rate Requests in logistics Share Point for non-contracted lanes.Release Holds in TSE.Back-up inbound shipping activities as needed.Ensure compliance with Emerson's ethical and trade policies.Organization: Ensure all metrics are measured and analyzed.Meet or exceed performance standards and maintain Flawless Execution.Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.Optimize the use of business tools for increased efficiency.Candidate Profile: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, engineering, logistics, or supply chain.2-3 years of experience in logistics and customer support.Preferred Skills: Knowledge of industry culture, structure, and products.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF.Our Culture & Commitment: At Emerson, we value a workplace where every employee is respected, valued, and empowered.
