We need a certain charismatic someone with a "can do" attitude who can not only train people, but who can also relate to their audience, entertain, inspire and enthuse. We only consider those who have had working experience in various industries. You will be able to connect to all types of people, have the skills to put people at ease, as well as help those who may not necessarily ask for it and to design, develop and deliver a range of safety programmes covering all aspects of conventional health safety.


Course to deliver:

• Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment (RQF)

Paperwork

• Right to work in the UK

• 5 years checkable references

• No criminal convictions (CRB check will be conducted)


Tutor Qualifications' requirement :

Nominated tutors/assessors for Level 1 Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment (RQF) qualification must meet the following standards:


a) It is required nominated tutors/assessors for this qualification to be occupationally competent in the construction ; 


b) In addition, nominated tutors/assessors should hold a qualification in health and safety:

hold a relevant subject area qualification, which could include any of the following:

• Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

• Level 4 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)

• IOSH Managing Safely;

• NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health or above;

• NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety;


c) Maintain appropriate continued professional development for the subject area.

d) Be able to prove extensive (minimum of five years) training experience in any subject.

• Proven ability, maturity and confidence to deal with a diverse range of personnel.

• Interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work under own initiative, unsupervised, as well as part of a team.

• Ability to meet objectives and deadlines whilst working under pressure and maintaining professional credibility.

• Supportive to individuals with a range of learning styles.

• Ability to work in varying environments.

• Demonstrate a passion for developing others.

• To be a good team player.


Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver accredited and in-house Health and Safety Training (as described above).

• Complete and mark assessments.

• Develop new and update existing materials.

• Design bespoke courses to meet customer needs.

• Conducting training courses at both training centres and at customer sites.

• Preparing all paperwork and handouts for your training events.

• Arriving early, setting up the training area to our high standards.

• The role may also include other tasks as directed by the Academy.
