Core / Primary Duties:
Authorized to : Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations. Ensuring premises, assets communications are used effectively. Utilizing logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures. Coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods.
Internal Relations : Production, Warehousing and Support Services.
External Relation : Freight Forwarding Agencies & Customers.
Produces reports based on the sales of employees in the sales department.
Responds to any inquiries from the consumer.
Hires and fires sales team members when necessary.
Reads and evaluates sales reports.
Meets monthly sales goals as provided by management.
Makes sure that sales orders are delivered in a timely fashion and according to the desires of customers.
Settles upon delivery dates and times with other departments to make sure that the consumer interaction is of the utmost of professionalism.
Makes presentations to management which explain how to meet sales goals and talk about any new innovative ideas that management may have
Has the ability to read any and all financial documents, especially cash flow statements and general ledgers
Assists the marketing department in new marketing campaigns
Makes sales goals and assists other members of the sales department in meeting them
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively.
Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures.
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff ( truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements.
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements.
Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material.
Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
Store and sort financial and non-financial data in electronic form and present reports.
Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness.
Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems.
Monitor the team's progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
Assist in the preparation and organizing of promotional material or events.
Ensure adherence to laws and policies.
Time-Oriented, People Person, Great Written and Verbal Communication, Financial Analysis, Sales, Product Knowledge, Consumer Relations, Travel, Industry Knowledge, Sales Strategies
Criteria / Requirements:
Educational Qualification : Bachelors in business, sales/marketing or related field. Masters will be advantages.
Professional Experience : 2+ years of previous sales or industry specific experience and strong familiarity with the protective packaging market
Performance Criteria : Professional, independent, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented, with a positive customer focus and attitude.
Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office
Additional Qualification (if any) : Certification in Marketing.
