Job details
Duties include, but not be limited to:
Managing inbound and outbound logistics infrastructure and improvement of the logistics performance according to delivery targets, quality targets and financial targets and stock inventory
Leading and motivating the Logistics Department
Problem and conflict management with the suppliers in terms of daily deliveries, stock movement, and contract issues
Ensure that the customer activity plan is applied
Price negotiations regarding transport providers in term of cost, utilization, etc.
Price negotiations with shipping agents, accessory vendors for better services in favor of the company
Responsibility for stock inventory optimizing into consideration of transportation
Avoidance of obsolescence and control of a balanced vehicle movement management
Responsible for the complete documentation cycle related to inbound and outbound vehicles
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
Experience in supply chain management (Procurement, Logistic Chain, Purchasing)
Know how to transfer / best practice sharing
Know how of Dubai vehicle export and import procedures
Very good relational skills, leadership skills, and charisma
High level of communication skills in English and Arabic
