Key duties and responsibilities:

• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing or frequency.

• Schedule repairs and maintenance work to vehicles as needed

• Ensure all drivers complete daily written mileage reports and pre-trip reports and submit those reports to Transport Office.

• Should maintain delivery schedules and track deliveries to ensure deliveries are met.

• Should monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or licensing issues.

• Ensure all deliveries/pick-ups are done efficiently, specific customer requests or concerns are communicated to all transportation employees.

• Overseeing and scheduling the day to day activities of transportation employees.

• Write report for delays, incidents and mishaps, if needed.

Preferred Candidate:

• Previous experience as transport coordinator/Incharge is a must

• Good knowledge of Dubai & Abu Dhabi Routes

• Basic computer knowledge & MS Excel Knowledge is a must.

• Good data entry/keyboard skills

• Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
