JOB SUMMARY
The production control coordinator is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor, as according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing weekly production schedule meetings.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.
Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
Issue production Work Orders, production target and track for on time completion.
Update and manage ERP for Item Master, Configuration Control and requirements.
Identify shortages and floor stock requirements for production.
Run reports to capture all the production performance data.
Complete shipping information and delivery date input.
Archive/File the customer Purchase Order documentation and related delivery documentation.
Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.

Advance MS Excel knowledge & proficiency is a must
EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree
2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Ability to pass extensive security and background checks
Ability to work overtime when necessary
Ability to work holidays and any shift assigned
