This role requires ability to solve complex problems, apply appropriate technologies and practices, invent, design and build systems that are performant. A creative technologist with a passion for big data and visualization design to build data-driven apps that query millions of data points in real-time and deliver intelligence to business.

As a Software Developer - Python you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  Work closely with marketing team and difference business units to identify business needs and challenges that can be addressed through web applications powered by data-driven advanced analytics.

  Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance interactive visualizations across multi-platform.

  Learn, contribute to, maintain and improve the application codebase. Write readable, well-tested and well-documented code for both the client and in-house use.

  Participate in design and code reviews. Work with the development team to continuously improve engineering practices and code quality.

Qualification/Skills needed

  Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Media Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or other quantitative field

  3-5 years of working experience with Python, Django, HTML/CSS, Javascript/JQuery, Git/Github.

  Fluency in user-centred design methods, rapid prototyping, usability, and interface and interaction design.

  Bias towards action - you're results-oriented self-starter and deliver on projects

  Strong written and verbal communication skills - you're able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  Organized and effective multitasker - you're able to prioritize your task pipeline to ship as fast as possible without sacrificing quality

  Experience in APIs, authentication systems, SEO, and build automation.

  Solid foundation in data structures and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills.

  Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  Familiarity with analytics (media industry, social, digital marketing).

  Track record of efficient collaboration on software projects.
