In his/her role as Telemarketer the candidate, (using information from a variety of sources), will:

• Outbound telemarketing to call 'suspects' and prospects to find companies that fit out target customer profile, book meetings with these for the TAM's

• Consultancy based pitch delivered via a scripted sales pitch

• Gather information and verify details, update the CRM with these

• Support the TAM's with admin function such as preparation of visits and follow up

• Support sales staff by following up leads, producing quotes and assisting the sales team

Performance Objective:

New business development role to increase GP to new customers, success is measured by the number of quality meetings booked per week.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Telemarketing to book quality meetings for Technical Applications Managers

2. Follow up prospects from CRM database as well as new leads from ongoing marketing activity

3. Backing up the sales team by producing quotes, previsit reports, updating sharepoint with appointments

1. Outlook

2. MS-Excel

3. CRM

Essential Selection Criteria

1. Must have past telemarketing experience, with ability to self-motivate (things can be get tough in telemarketing - the best candidates are tenacious with dogged determination.

2. Must have strong CRM experience to enter up details

Ideal Selection Criteria

1. Some exposure in face to face sales would be beneficial.

2. Some experience in sales based coaching could be advantageous
