• Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
• Monitor production to resolve issues
• Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
• Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
• Approve and supervise maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Enforce health and safety precautions
• Report to upper management
• To control Manpower movement during shift hours and be accountable for same.
• to make best use of Manpower/Machineries/Materials
• To review and submit the Daily Production Summary Report at end of each day to Manager
• Continuously follows all safety, cleanliness and hygiene rules
• Prepares the shift reports including all required information (personnel, machine counters, packed items, breakdowns etc.)
• Co ordinate with Sales and Procurement people to assure plant is supplied with required raw material on time and client gets delivery of finished product on time.
