Performs the analysis, design, build, testing and implementation of SAP and 3rd party solutions in Financials, working in a primarily functional capacity.
Participates in post go live support, improving business processes, operational metrics, business-case development and performance measurement.
Plays a key role in implementing and supporting SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Financials, making SAP ERP system, data and people ready for Finance division, as well as integrating it with relevant legacy business applications.
Acts as the primary liaison amongst FD, ITD and Contractors throughout any SAP, ERP Financials implementation and ;
Responsible for proactively conducting interviews with all concerned stakeholders to determine functional requirements, modelling those requirements into functional design specifications, and managing those requirements throughout the project life ;
Defines and documents processes and functional business requirements, provides functional & technical assistance to the users, conducts application testing for functionality compliance and acceptance, demonstrates to and trains Finance users, documents GAP, Analysis, Risks & Mitigation and Change Management Procedures, prepares training materials and schedules, etc.
Minimum Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information
Systems or Finance preferably with CPA / CA
Certified SAP FI/CO Professional
Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI)
5 years' experience in SAP Application development/ implementation, Support and other related field
Knowledge of System Analysis & Design, enterprise architecture framework and business modelling
Basic IAS accounting and reporting principles
Knowledge of oil refining industry financial processes
Knowledge of Data migration to SAP from legacy and external sources
Effective communicator with good analytical skills
Extensive knowledge of SAP ERP Financials
Knowledge of SAP Business Objects Planning solutions and related business applications
Experience in SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI) Integration, Monitoring,
Implementation and Support with legacy applications, such as, Maximo
Outstanding documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
