Responsibilities:

• Serves and supports the Product Owner, Development and QA team members 
  
• Provides hands-on management and coaching of scrum teams in all aspects of scrum (facilitating daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings, daily routines, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, calculating velocity, limiting work in progress, etc.) 
  
• Assesses the maturity of the team and organization and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organization 
  
• Ensures the team is practicing the core Agile principles of self-direction, collaboration, business prioritization, team accountability, and transparency, toward the consistent delivery of working product 
  
• Identifies risks and supports mitigation activities 
  
• Removes impediments that would prevent the team from achieving its sprint and release goals (internal and external to the team) 
  
• Ensures that retrospectives produce actionable tasks; follows through to ensure that recommendations are implemented successfully and in a timely manner 
  
• Facilitates discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution 
  
• Assists with internal communication, improves transparency, and communicates out all necessary information 
  
• Reviews scrum processes, drives scrum process improvements 
  

Job Requirements
:

- Scrum Master role for at least two years for an Agile software development team. Preferably some experience with HR systems 

- 10 or more years managing end-to-end project delivery

- Ability to understand technical issues at a high level

- Must have experience with JIRA and Confluence.

- Strong experience with sprint planning and retrospectives

- Some experience with other iterative methodologies and Agile approaches such as Kanban

- Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills

- Must be a team-player

- Must be self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities and tasks

- Must be willing to work on a duration for contractual
