A growing sector for multimedia designers is e-learning: the development of CD, DVD and Internet-based educational products that communicate their subject matter in a multimedia setting.

Professional Skill Requirements

• A talented Visual Designer with 2-3 + years of relevant industry experience

• Strong command of graphic design fundamentals, typography, grids, layout, color and communicate ideas through graphics, photography or illustration

• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite

• Intuitively understands design flow between various types of media

• Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise, and creative manner Preferred

• Preferred BA in Communications Design, Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design or equivalent curriculum

Job Responsibilities;

• Consult with media producers and other design roles to conceptualize and create high-quality media solutions that meet business needs produce elegant media assets that meet learning objectives with a sense of style and intelligence

• Advise project team members on the most effective ways to tell a visual story and bring content to life

• Develop and recommend the look and feel for projects based on the content, learning objectives and company style guides Design fresh visual assets (illustrations, graphics, etc.) that utilize a variety of styles and approaches while staying in-brand

• Create and animate visuals for motion graphic videos

• Create fresh, modern templates for presentations, documents and other types of visual communications

• Collaborate with other media team members to maintain a visual style guide consistent with design standards and human interface guidelines

• Present visual designs to others, explain design rationale, and seek creative feedback Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, system administrators and others

• Manage completed media assets and associated file names, metadata and tags in a digital asset management system

• Effectively scale design solutions in accordance with project constraints and parameters

• Maintain expertise in the latest technology, tools and techniques related to visual design and multimedia production

• Participate in meetings, whether in-person or virtual, domestic or international

• Perform other duties as assigned
