The ideal incumbent will be responsible for driving business development internationally as well as managing and delivering projects in accordance with heads of state and government officials.

The Commercial Director oversees all commercial activities of the projects ensuring it maximizes all opportunities for profit generation available to it.

Ideal Incumbent must have experience in management of engineering projects abroad as well as locally and be willing to travel ; 

Ideal candidate must have a chemical engineering degree. Experience in delivering large scale engineering / construction projects internationally.

Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation. Natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills. Relevant industry experience within specialty chemicals or petrochemicals and in depth knowledge of the international market and delivering projects abroad.

This is a senior role, candidate must have 10 years' experience of successful commercial management. Along with demonstrating management experience, you must have developed commercial strategy.

Experience with Change Management processes and Project ;

Demonstrated experience with interaction with clients. Must have advanced knowledge of engineering and engineering design principles. Must have advanced understanding of contract management principles. Must have strong analytical and negotiating skills. Demonstrated experience in managing a business division, forming and leading a successful high-caliber team
