Due to the business expansion and promotion of the current post holder my client are now looking for a Technical Sales Advisor with background in technical (ideally, instrumentation) sales to join their Instrument Solutions team in the Bracknell office.
· B2B technical sales experience ideally related to a sector within the construction industry
· To sell the products and services offered by the Instrument Solutions business.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to influence and persuade
· Excellent customer services skills to develop relationships with current and potential customers in order to increase the revenue whilst addressing customer needs and demands
· Knowledge of contracts, invoicing and associated documentation
· Computer literate in Microsoft packages and a working knowledge of CRM systems.·
· Attention to detail
Main Duties:
· To take customer enquiries in order to establish the customer needs, provide advice on product selection, and availability
from stock to suit customer requirements
· Processing of contracts along with the all subsequent documentation including invoices, queries, credits and any complaints
on goods or services
· To maintain contact details and records in a customer relationship database
· To liaise with the calibration / technical staff to ensure the correct interpretation of the customer orders and the
timely completion of the work
· To identify opportunities for performance improvement, particularly office efficiency
· To advise the management team on enquiry trends and new product opportunities
· Ensure continued conformity with the requirements contained in ISO 9001 (BSI) and ISO 17025 (UKAS) through the
procedures defined within Quality Manuals
