Job Scope

• The Purchase Manager is responsible for planning, sourcing and purchasing of both raw materials and finished goods in order to ensure smooth supply of materials from supplier to production and sales. She is also responsible to create a pool of capable / reliable suppliers which can cope with the quality and quantity standards set by the company against sharp conditions

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and build strategic alliance with key supplier and manage supplier relationship for effective cost.

• Develop a reliable and efficient base of suppliers who provide good value

• Ensure that the supplier have the capacity, financial stability, quality & technical capabilities to meet company's business requirements.

• Accountable for cost savings and value creation

• Responsible for supplier management, implementing supplier business reviews to drive supplier performance.

• Ensuring effective Vendor Management resulting in Right Quality of the Product being supplied in line with the Branding Policy of the company.

• Manage with both Purchase and Inventory control functions

• Purchase order planning, consolidate consignment for costs efficiencies

• Conduct yearly supplier evaluation and visit local suppliers.

• Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.

• Support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
