The London Hair Academy have just launched their brand-new barbering and wet shave cave in their Academy in Shoreditch.
We are now recruiting for barbers with salon experience in wet shaves and beard trims to join the number 1 team in the industry.
This role is a tutoring role which includes teaching our NVQ Level 2 Barbering & NVQ Level 3 barbering /wet shaving course.
The position is a freelance but offers continuous work throughout the year, plus overtime, commissions and too many benefits to list.
Within your role you will be responsible for:
The delivery and assessment of the NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in barbering
Managing tracking, reviews and e-portfolio for your own group
The applicant must have the following skills:
Qualified to NVQ 2/3 in barbering and hold the A1 Assessor Award/TAQA
Have a minimum of three years teaching experience
A minimum of three years professional experience in the barbering industry
Be actively working in a barbershop or have at least 3 years' industry experience
Be confident to lead a class of up to 6 students.
Teaching and assessors qualification essential.
Candidates will need to show a proven track record of teaching work, specifically teaching qualification courses.
The applicant will need to be familiar with schemes of work and lesson plans.
