We are currently offering a part-time (22 hours per week), 1 year fixed-term opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as an Assistant Management Accountant in our Controlling Department (CTG). The CTG department at Bosch provides financial controlling support to our business divisions. This diverse role is based at our state of the art purpose built headquarters in Clayton, Melbourne.
Position responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Providing general accounting support to our Divisional Controllers
Downloading monthly cost centre reports and undertaking analysis of variances
Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Business Reviews, Current Forecasts and Business Plan reports
Ensuring financial data relating to each of the Bosch divisions is accurate and reported in a timely manner
Preparing monthly internal fault cost reports
Preparation of business reports for uploading into BIT (Business Intelligence System)
Preparing new product cost estimates
Preparing planned product cost variance reporting
The successful candidate will be meticulous to detail, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines, be a team player and have excellent organisational and communications skills. Previous experience within a similar organisation or position would be highly advantageous. Ideally we are seeking a candidate who could spread the part-time hours over a 5 day week, we can be flexible on work days should 5 days not be possible.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Business
The ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders of all levels
Some industry experience
Advanced Microsoft Office abilities (Excel, PowerPoint)
SAP experience would be advantageous
Proactive with a strong work-ethic
