Reason For Role


Due to Maternity we are seeking individual that can cover a key role at our head office in Holbeck Leeds for a 12 month period.

We envisage this role will become more permanent beyond the 12 month initial period and should the candidate demonstrate aptitude, dedication, aligned values and a flexible approach.

The Company


Oaklands Construction is a Civil Engineering Contractor based in Leeds we work across the Yorkshire region and on a national basis with many blue chip clients to include Pepsi Co, Interserve, Aldi, Vinci, ISG, Morris & Spottiswood and several others.

Oaklands was established in 2011 and since has grown to circa £10m turnover, employs circa 60 site operatives and 20 management and head office personnel.

We are a dynamic and forward thinking organisation with a strategic growth plan, great client relationships and enjoy a hardworking but fun culture.

Key Tasks include


General Admin, to include helping to check accounts/ invoices and record on sage.

Booking accommodation and co-ordinating training for operatives

Scheduling vehicles & machinery for services

Processing wages and checking site hours

Arranging hospitality for guests and clients and management of corporate events

The Candidate


The ideal candidate will be able to use MS Office and Outlook, be customer facing, confident with a telephone and ideally have experience of using Sage.

You must be able to work under own initiative, enjoy interaction with people, be a great communicator and enjoy working in a team.

Ideally be experienced within the construction industry

A driving licence will be required as the role will involve visiting our sites on occasion and vehicle movements of company cars/vans.
