Head of Electronic Security Services
A leading security group based in based in Qatar is seeking to hire a strong and enthusiastic leader to join them as the Head of ESS.
The Roles
• The successful candidate will be a driven energetic individual with a positive can do attitude and will
come with a strong track record of growing electronic security systems businesses.
• With a good technical knowledge and extensive experience in business development you will have the
necessary experience to develop, manage and invest in your team.
• Plan, direct, manage and oversee all aspects of the security systems division including technical,
operational and maintenance.
• Must have experience in formulating strategic objectives and plans for business units.
• Must have excellent knowledge of the industry and have a sound understanding of the leading
suppliers and business partners needed to build a successful systems division.
• Responsible to set the budget for the division in coordination with the country CEO and track and
control sales and margin performance and keep it within a set budget providing forecasts when
required.
• To key performance measures for your team to ensure the highest levels of customer service for the
systems division.
• To take ownership of high value opportunities and manage the successful submission of large value
bids in coordination with the sales team and to work with the other divisional heads to submit
integrated security bids.
• To identify capability gaps in the team and work with the HR department to fill them whilst identifying the training needs of your team to ensure succession and continuity planning.
The Person
• Experienced in a wide range of sectors but previous knowledge of the Military, Finance, Retail and
Transportation sectors would be beneficial.
• Should be experienced in working with and managing employees from a range of nationalities,
backgrounds and cultures.
• Ability to directly and indirectly manage teams and projects.
• Calm, skilled and driven operator.
• You will be working in a team environment where you are expected to display excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and service delivery to the highest level of industry standards.
• Be able to adapt to changes in the working environment, duties and priorities
• Able to handle fluctuations in the workload
• Have an exceptional attention to detail
• Planning and organizing skills
• Have a high degree of responsibility
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Electrical / Electronic degree or any engineering related field
• A minimum 10 years of experience in similar roles
• Excellent command of both Arabic and English
