Job Responsibilities:

* Assist in payroll calculations, changes, deductions, and with holdings.

* Process timesheets, W4 changes, PTO, and leave of absences for employees.

* Calculate taxes and prepare tax

* Ensure that payroll processing is in compliance with federal, state and local laws.

* Calculate wages for overtime earnings and process vacation deductions.

* Address payroll inquiries from employees in a timely manner.

* Analyze payroll issues and provide appropriate action plans.

* Generate periodic payroll reports to Managers for review.


Job Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in accounting.

* Two-four years of experience in accounting.

* Certificate in any professional accounting body would be an added advantage / CPA.

* Good computer skills: MS Word, Excel, any Accounting softwares

* Mastery over numbers and being quick with numerical calculations

* Have a high level of integrity, as they will know about the earnings of many employees; confidentiality.

* Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

* Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure

* Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
