Team members will work at a variety of stations including, but not limited to:

Food Preparation, Weighing, Washing, Juice Press, Packaging, Smoothies, Cooking, General Housekeeping

Food Preparation

1-    Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.

2-    Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage.

3-    Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures.

4-    Package take-out foods and/or serve food to customers.

5-    Portion and wrap the food, or place it directly on plates for service to patrons.

6-    Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly.

7-    Weigh or measure ingredients.

8-    Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed, and provide cooks with needed items.

9-    Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving.

10-    Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in refrigerators, cupboards, and other storage areas.

11-    Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers.

12-    Prepare and serve a variety of beverages such as juices, and coffee.

13-    Carry food supplies, equipment, and utensils to and from storage and work areas.

14-    Make special dressings and sauces as condiments for salads.

15-    Use manual and/or electric appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foods.

16-    Stir and strain soups and sauces.

17-    Allocate orders of customers and shops accordingly.

18-    Keep records of quality control, production schedule, hygiene and sanitation manual, etc…

19-    Wash containers, equipment, and cutlery properly.

20-    Butcher and clean fruits and vegetables following The Raw Place standards and procedures.

21-    Cut, slice and/or peel fruits and vegetables.

22-    Work on assembly lines cutting, peeling, chopping, bottling, labeling, juicing, etc…

23-    Arrange and weigh ingredients for juice making, and food preparation.

24-    Learning the key health benefits of all of our products is a must.

General Housekeeping

Juice makers ensure their equipment is maintained.

A juice maker is responsible for operating, cleaning and maintaining all tools (, blenders, food processors, paring knives) that are used on the job. This includes troubleshooting, making minor repairs and alerting management if a piece of equipment is irreparable. The juice maker is also responsible for ensuring that the food preparation area is clean, maintaining compliance with any employer policies and government regulations.

Typical Work Shift

A juice maker typically begins a shift by ensuring that all supplies needed to perform the duties of the job are available. This includes taking stock of all equipment, fruit, milk and any other food product need to create customer beverages. Before opening the establishment for the day, the juice makers, peels and chops all fruits that will be used and organizes and stores them. Once the juice stand has closed for the day, the juice maker discards all partially used food products and properly seals and stores the rest in accordance to store policies. The juice maker also makes note of any inventory that is running low, alerting the supervisor so it may be replaced before the next shift starts.

Employee must be eligible to work overnight working hours.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Food/Beverage.

• Have the ability to develop positive working relationships with all restaurant personnel and work as a part of a team by helping others as needed or requested.

• Educate customers on the benefits of our product line.

• Be able to adapt to changing customer levels with a sense of urgency.

• Have the ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen and line.

• Have a high school diploma.

• Speak fluent English.
