Our faculty are committed to delivering pedagogically-sound learning experiences with incorporation of innovative technological interventions, to further enhance students' skills and help develop talented graduates that can effectively contribute to a knowledge-based economy and make Qatar's National Vision 2030 a reality.Position: Post Doctoral Researcher - Metamaterial Design The College of Engineering and Technology invites applications for the position of Post Doctoral Researcher in Metamaterial Design.The successful candidate will lead groundbreaking research in the design, simulation, fabrication, and testing of innovative metamaterial structures. As a key member of our research team, you will work on cutting-edge projects with applications in defense, telecommunications, and aerospace.Responsibilities: Design and optimize innovative metamaterial structures for maximum RCS reduction.Investigate different metamaterial topologies and materials to achieve adaptable performance.Utilize electromagnetic simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS, and FEKO to model and analyze the performance of the designed metamaterials.Design and produce prototypes of metamaterial structures and conduct extensive testing.Operate and maintain specialized measurement equipment, ensuring accurate data collection.Collaborate with researchers and technology experts to integrate modules and metamaterials with other structures.Analyze research data and provide insights to the team.Assist in preparing research papers, grant proposals, and technical reports.Stay updated with advancements in the field and apply state-of-the-art methodologies.Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Electromagnetic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or a related discipline focusing on metamaterial design.Strong background in metamaterial design, simulation, and measurement.Proficiency with electromagnetic simulation software such as CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS, and FEKO.Research experience with publications and conference presentations.Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
