ISS International Sp A is looking for an Offshore Structural Engineer in Abu Dhabi (UAE).Offshore Structural Engineer Role Description Perform technicaltasks assigned by the Project Structural Lead such as structuralanalyses calculations design verification or studyactivities.Interface with other Project Specialists and Designers Co-ordinate and reviewtechnical activities performed inside or outsidecompany Tasks: The Engineer executes the activities within the area of responsibilityensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSErequirements Own tasksinclude: Review Client technicaldocumentation and requirements Contribute indefining structural design premises Contribute tothe writing of the Project Structural Design Brief (roadmap of allthe structural design and analyses work on theproject)Liaise with other Project Specialistsand Designers whenever required for a proper completion of the workassigned Design structural systems and componentspursuing objectives of sound engineering and design optimization interm of costs fabrication simplicity constructability andsafety Carry out/Check/Supervise structuralanalyses Supervise/Approve steel structuresdesign drawings Supervise setting up of bill ofquantities or material take off (MTO)Preparewhen required specifications for structural fabrications and allrelated items such as bearing systems bolts cladding gratingetc.Verify structural strength or dynamicbehaviour of items designed by others (piping support Specialists Vendors technical building Suppliers etc.)Applythe Quality Control Procedure of the Offshore Key Skills USCG,ISO,Deck Equipment,Diesel Engines,Marine Engineering,PMS,Shipyard,HVAC,Electrical Systems,Routine Maintenance,Autocad,fuel systems,Technical Support,Technical Reports,Air Compressors Employment Type: Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr
