1. Overall

• Strategic planning and development courses for IT

• Monthly IT meeting

• Performs QC check on IT daily, weekly and monthly tasks

• Ensures the correct access rights to be granted based on individual job duties

• Carries out regular system checks in term of user and system logs

• Ensures all support issues are escalated timely and followed through

• Performs monthly payroll encryption

• Ensures system upgrades are correctly done and thoroughly tested before implementation

• Works closely with operation departments to ensure their processes are being simplified with the right introduction of technologies

• Coordinates IT projects in terms of planning, preparing schedules, allocating resource and communicating progress to other departments

• Ensures users are aware of and comply with both SLIM and hotel policies

• Ensures all hotel procedures and manuals are updated

• Interview by internal & external auditors

• Ensures all procedures are up to audit standard

• Provides recommendation on IT process and development to improve efficiency

• Responsible for yearly IT budget planning

• Ensures yearly Maintenance Agreements for various systems, hardware and software are well arranged.
Conduct performance reviews and evaluation of team members twice a year

• Ensures that there are sufficient copies of software license and no usage of illegal or private software

2. Environmental Awareness

• Be environmental friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reuse whenever applicable.

3. Emergency Response Team (ERT)

• Being part of the Emergency Response Team member in the hotel when the need arises.

4. Multitasking

• As the hotel is into full multitasking, you may be required to transfer from one section to another in the same Division as deemed necessary by your Department/ Division Head.

• Carries out other special projects and tasks assigned by supervisors.
