We are looking for an experienced and passionate multifaceted developer to join our fun and exciting events team! WordPress, SEO & AdWords are your forte!
As a WordPress developer at our company, you will possess a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). You will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of a variety of digital products.
You will also be an SEO expert who will manage all our search engine optimization and marketing activities. You will be responsible for managing content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all PPC campaigns and Google AdWords to maximize ROI.
Duties & Responsibilities
Wordpress:
o Designing and implementing new features and functionality
o Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
o Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
o Ensuring all work adheres to current industry best practice
o Providing timely resolution to reported problems with existing websites
SEO/SEM:
o Improve our company's organic search results
o Identify the least expensive but most powerful and profitable keywords that will drive the most valuable traffic
o Implement off-page SEO content strategies such as coding
o Effectively use header tags
o Write attractive and concise copy for adverts
o Be involved in keyword selection and audience targeting
o Perform daily account management of pay-per-click accounts on Google AdWords
o Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI
o Create advanced SEO strategies
o Develop and implement link building strategies
o Prepare and present detailed strategy reports
Requirements & Qualifications
o Bachelor degree in related field or comparable experience
o Advanced knowledge of Wordpress at a PHP code level
o Good understanding of frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
o Knowledge of existing inbuilt WordPress functions
o Experience designing and developing responsive and mobile web design
o WordPress custom theme development
o Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
o In-depth experience with Google Analytics and Tag Manager
o Experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC) - experience with running successful SEO and Google AdWords campaigns
o Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
o Experience with website optimization tools
o Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
o Capable of hitting deadlines
o Working knowledge of creating multilingual websites (in particular Arabic sites)
o Good understanding of cross¬platform and cross¬browser issues
o Previous experience working for an events agency advantageous
