QUALIFICATIONS:

· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field

· Minimum 1-2 years experience in Desktop Support Environment

· At least 1-2 years experience with Hardware and Networking

· Advanced knowledge of installations, upgrades and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2000/2003 % Web application servers. Experience with IIS and SQL is highly desirable

· Skills performing backups/restores, monitoring Data Base performance, running SQL scripts to monitor the system and modify tables when required. Knowledge of SQL2000/MySQL and troubleshooting is highly desirable

· Working knowledge of database application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures

· Strong technical aptitude and ability to research and solve complex issues independently

· Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organization

· Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal information

· Fresh Graduates need to undergo written and practical exam

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements

2. Writes the programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements

3. Researches and proposes software programs that are compatible to the future technologies

4. Uses web development software to integrate databases and other information systems

5. Tests the website and identifies any technical problems

6. Fixes bugs, troubleshoots and resolves problems

7. Uploads the site onto a server

8. Registers websites with search engines to increase website traffic

9. Provides some back-end functionality using PHP and/or other languages

10. Performs routine site maintenance as needed

11. Communicates with network personnel or website hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues affecting websites

12. Performs other functions which may be assigned by the immediate superior
