Reporting directly to the Athletics Coordinator, this position is responsible for creating and maintaining a successful MMA program at RIT Dubai. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The MMA instructor must be able to manage the administrative duties of the job as well as the fitness class.
• General Duties and Responsibilities:
o Demonstrates appropriate level of skills and knowledge of MMA.
o Establish and maintain an ethical and moral code of behavior by the student athletes.
o Assure proper safety is maintained during all fitness sessions.
Job Requirements:
• Experience as an MMA instructor
• Skills in training and instructing the basic fundamentals and concepts of MMA
• Strong commitment to Student Athletes
• Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills, energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational
• Ability to resolve conflicts in a professional, tactful manner
• Ability to acknowledge difficult situations and respond accordingly
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
Required Qualifications for the Position
• Certified MMA instructor
• First Aid and CPR Certified
