Description
Coordinate and prioritize all construction, installation, maintenance, renovation, and upgrade projects Manage, monitor, inspect, and advise on project activities Review contractor-submitted designs and complete project close-out documentation Serve as a liaison between SPACECENT and engineering agencies (379 ECES, AFCEC, USACE)Coordinate with the Special Security Office for the maintenance of SCIFs and other requirements to maintain the Authority to Operate Prepare and submit weekly project status and progress reports to the CORProject Execution & Oversight Prioritize and manage all construction, renovation, and upgrade projects for SPACECENT facilities Monitor, (site visits), document project activities from design through closeout, ensuring contractor compliance with specifications, safety, and quality Manage schedules, identify delays (using CPM), recommend corrective actions, and report earned value metrics Submit weekly project status reports to the CORDesign Review & Coordination Provide technical input on contractor designs (drawings, specs) and assess compliance with SPACECENT needs and codes (UFC, IBC, NFPA)Coordinate design reviews and execution with key agencies: 379 ECES, AFCEC, and USACEComplete all project closeout documentation (as-builts, O&M manuals, punch lists, commissioning)Secure Facilities (SCIF) Management Coordinate with the Special Security Office (SSO) for maintenance and construction of SCIFs Ensure SCIF work complies with ICD 705 and JAFAN 6/9 standards Support Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance for all secure facilities Coordinate SCIF construction requirements (RF shielding, TEMPEST, acoustic protection)Liaison & Communication Serve as the primary technical liaison between SPACECENT, the 379 ECES, and other Do D/design agencies (AFCEC, USACE)Prepare executive-level reports, memorandums, correspondence, and executive one-slide briefings (suitable for CENTCOM Commander/Congressional staffers)Respond to all government inquiries within 3 business days Program Planning & Acquisition Support Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) detailing key milestones Assist with RFP activities, including preparing amendments/modifications, responding to contractor RFIs, and reviewing proposals Provide input for program budget development Attend all required meetings (recurring and short-notice, 4-hour notification) and work effectively under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment Desired Candidate Profile6 years relevant progressive experience with bachelor's in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience Active TS/SCI clearance Air Force Training: If no prior Air Force planning experience, candidate must take the next available AFIT courses WENG 519 and WENG 520 after hiring Physical Requirements: Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, knee, push, pull, reach Ability to obtain Qatar country visa per U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide Ability to pass CENTCOM medical screening including physical examination, immunizations, and dental clearance Previous overseas deployment experience (minimum 6 months cumulative) OR previous assignment overseas at U.S. military installation (minimum 12 months)Must maintain a valid driver's license to operate Mission vehicles Must be able to successfully complete all required CENTCOM medical screening
