Architectural Draftsman

Position: Architectural Draftsman (Marble, Stone & Granite – Fit-Out Projects)Location: Qatar Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Marble, Stone, Granite, and Fit-Out Construction Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Architectural Draftsman with strong expertise in the marble, stone, and granite industry, particularly in fit-out and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of GCC experience, be highly proficient in Auto CAD, and possess working knowledge of BIM, Civil 2D & 3D software.Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate shop drawings and as-built drawings for client and consultant approval, with a focus on marble, granite, and stone works.Develop detailed drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and stone layout details.Work on interior and space planning, furniture layouts, and finishes.Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and smooth execution.Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.Review and interpret architectural and structural plans and translate them into precise technical drawings for marble and stone applications.Incorporate client requirements, project scope, budget, and design preferences into all drawing outputs.Maintain all drawing records and documentation in compliance with project and company standards.Provide technical support to site teams during installation and execution stages.Participate in design meetings and respond to revisions or updates as required.Prepare technical proposals, including design analysis, schematic sketches, and procurement specifications.Develop layout designs, detailed specifications, and BOQs illustrating workflow and design intent.Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.Technical Qualification: Diploma in Auto CAD Draftsmanship or equivalent.Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of GCC experience, specifically in marble, granite, or stone contracting and fit-out projects.Software Skills: Proficient in Auto CAD Civil 2D & 3D, with knowledge of BIM tools.Strong understanding of materials, installation methods, and industry standards related to marble and granite.Excellent ability to read and interpret construction and architectural documents.Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills.Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.Good communication and team collaboration skills.Language: Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).Availability: Ready to join immediately.Job Type: Full-time
