AOMA is seeking a Full-Time Teaching Assistant / Program Coordinator to support our portfolio and art education programs.Position Overview: This role combines academic support, program coordination, and student outreach. The ideal candidate will have a background in visual arts, understand art school admissions (especially in North America and Europe), and possess strong communication and organizational skills. You will assist in managing the portfolio program, support teachers and students, and help promote and expand AOMA's educational initiatives.Key Responsibilities: · Support the Portfolio Preparation Program: assist with scheduling, student progress tracking, and coordination between teachers, students, and administrative staff.· Provide admissions and portfolio consultation for prospective students and families, offering accurate guidance on art school requirements and portfolio preparation strategies.· Participate in program promotion and outreach, including open houses, information sessions, and marketing events.· Assist in the development and implementation of new academic and creative programs, helping AOMA expand its offerings in visual arts education.· Maintain effective communication with current students and families, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.· Provide administrative and logistical support for exhibitions, workshops, and special projects.Qualifications & Attributes: · Bachelor's degree or higher in Visual Arts, Design, Art Education, or a related field.· Familiarity with North American and European art school admissions requirements and portfolio expectations.· Experience in art education, student advising, or program coordination is preferred.· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm and approachable personality.· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.· Capable of both independent work and team collaboration.· Passionate about education and student development; motivated to grow within the art and education field.· Flexible working hours to accommodate class schedules and school events.Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
