General Accountant (VAT & AML) – Real Estate & Consultancy Location: Dubai, UAEEmployment Type: Full-time, On-site (No Remote/Hybrid)About Us We are a leading real estate and consultancy firm in Dubai, providing end-to-end property investment, development, and advisory services. We are seeking a General Accountant with solid expertise in VAT compliance and AML regulations, particularly in the real estate sector, to join our growing team.Key Responsibilities Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure VAT compliance and prepare timely filings with UAE tax authorities.Implement and oversee AML policies and procedures in line with UAE real estate regulatory requirements.Manage accounting for property transactions: sales, leases, commissions, and client funds.Support financial due diligence for property acquisitions and consultancy projects.Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for ongoing real estate projects.Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and relevant authorities.Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) preferred.Minimum (X) years of accounting experience, ideally within real estate or consultancy sectors in Dubai/UAE.Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and AML compliance for property transactions.Familiarity with RERA and other UAE real estate regulatory frameworks is a strong advantage.Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Quick Books, or real estate ERP systems) and MS Office Suite.Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and organizational skills.Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an added advantage).Job Type: Full-time
