Inclusion Specialist

Position Summary: The Inclusion Specialist will play a key role in designing, implementing, and monitoring programs that promote inclusivity for People of Determination (Po D), elderly individuals, and other diverse population groups. This role involves conducting accessibility audits, developing inclusive program frameworks, advocating for equitable participation, and ensuring alignment with UAE's disability laws and inclusion mandates. The Inclusion Specialist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, government stakeholders, and community partners to create programs that enhance participation, health, and well-being for all members of society.Key Responsibilities: Conduct accessibility audits to ensure facilities, events, and programs are inclusive and barrier-free.Design and implement inclusive program models tailored to the needs of Po D, elderly participants, and diverse community members.Advocate for the inclusion of underrepresented groups in sports, education, health, and community programs.Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs on inclusive practices for internal teams and external partners.Review policies and procedures, providing recommendations to enhance inclusivity and compliance with UAE disability laws and international best practices.Collaborate with government entities, NGOs, and private-sector partners to drive inclusive initiatives.Develop and adapt physical activity programs suitable for various ability levels, ensuring safe participation.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion programs, reporting outcomes and areas for improvement.Stay updated on UAE inclusion mandates, cultural sensitivities, and global trends in accessibility and inclusion.Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Inclusive Education, Rehabilitation, Social Work, or a related field.Preferred: Additional certifications in accessibility, Po D program design, gerontology, or related areas.Experience: 5–7 years of professional experience in inclusion programs, preferably in Po D, elderly services, or special education.Direct exposure to UAE-based institutions such as Zayed Higher Organization, Special Olympics UAE, or similar.Proven ability to develop and adapt programs for diverse physical ability levels.Skills: Expertise in accessibility audits and inclusive program design.Strong advocacy and facilitation skills for diverse audiences.Knowledge of adaptive sports, health, and wellness programs.Analytical and problem-solving skills to review policies and recommend best practices.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities (Arabic & English preferred).
