Accountant - Trading Company(Import & export)

Pay: 4, AED) - 6, AED) per month Job description: We are a fast-growing trading company specializing in import and export of Construction Equipment's. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of international trade accounting, customs documentation, and financial management.Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare import & export documentation, including LCs, shipping invoices, and customs clearance records.Handle bank reconciliations, supplier payments, and customer collections.Maintain accurate records of inventory and costing for imported/exported goods.Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.Monitor and manage cash flow, preparing periodic financial reports.Liaise with banks, suppliers, freight forwarders, and auditors. Assist in budget preparation and support management with financial analysis.Ensure compliance with international trade policies and company accounting procedures.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading or import/export company.Solid knowledge of import/export processes, customs documentation, and Incoterms.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Quick Books, Zhou, or similar).Strong understanding of VAT regulations and financial reporting standards.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills: Experience with Letter of Credit (LC) handling.Knowledge of Foreign Currency transactions and exchange rates.Familiarity with ERP systems.Benefits: Competitive salary package.Annual leave and other statutory benefits.Opportunity to grow with a fast-expanding trading business.Job Type: Full-time Experience: Accounting in Construction: 2 years (Preferred)Job Type: Full-time
