Architect - Design Development (Retail)

Company Overview: We are an architecture project management consultancy specializing in luxury retail projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality design development, including MEP integration, and ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of excellence expected by our clients.Position: Architect - Design Development (Retail)Location: Dubai, united Arab Emirates Job Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed technical drawings and documentation based on the design concepts provided by retail brands.Collaborate closely with the design team to ensure that architectural designs align with the brand's identity and specifications.Integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the overall design while maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of the project.Refine and iterate on designs based on client feedback and evolving project requirements.Ensure that all design work complies with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Coordinate with the internal design team to ensure consistency and high standards across all deliverables.Support the preparation of design presentations and materials to effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.Review shop drawings from contractors and suppliers.Prepare take offs for procurement Site visits to ensure design compliancy Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural design development, with a strong focus on retail projects.Proven experience working with luxury retail brands is highly desirable.Proficiency in CAD software, including Auto CAD, Sketch Up, and other relevant tools, including presentation tools.Strong understanding of MEP systems and their integration into architectural design.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients, project managers and other stakeholders.Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.Preferred Skills: Experience with luxury retail fit-out projects.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs to meet complex project requirements.Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.Application Process: We look forward to welcoming a talented architect to our team who is passionate about creating exceptional spaces.Please send your resume towith the subject line" Architect-Design Development (Retail)"
